The Children’s FASD System of Care
The Children’s FASD System of Care begins its work with community education on FASD, training in FASD screening and assessment, and FASD services that includes Infant Mental Health, Strengths & Strategies, and Families Moving Forward.
Community Education
Training to improve the understanding of FASD and its impact on the child or youth and their family among children’s mental health providers, caregivers, community partners, and interested others.
FASD Screening and Assessment
Training and implementation of a standardized FASD screening and assessment protocol for CMHSP providers within the FASD System of Care.
FASD Interventions
Training and implementation of selected evidence-based and evidence-informed programs for clinical staff to intervene with families with children with a probable FASD at different developmental stages (young children, school-aged children, adolescents).
